Tap on Place Hold to be put on a waiting list for digital books out on loan. You can see if a book is available or not on search results pages or the book’s info page Placing HoldsĪ Place Hold link means the book is out on loan to another patron. Tap on the cover image of the book if you want to see its info page, which has book summaries, samples series info, and lending options. To browse through collection, tap the Library icon (Library Building), then tap on a featured guide or list. To search for a book, tap the Search icon (Magnifying Glass) at the bottom of the screen and enter the title, author, or topic. When you first open the Libby App, follow the on-screen prompts to add your library name, Okanagan Regional Library, and to add your library card number (no spaces), and your PIN.(Unsure of your PIN? Reset your PIN code online if your email address is associated with your library account).Īfter your information is entered, the ORL’s OverDrive digital book collection will open in the Libby App. You can use Libby in your web browser at and enjoy books and magazines online. You now have access to the new Libby OverDrive app.Use the Libby App on your tablet or smartphone to enjoy digital books (& magazines) from the ORL’s OverDrive collection. Select the first option shown, 'Solihull Libraries'. 
The app will automatically bring up matching libraries. If you have pressed 'No', a new screen will ask you if you want to search for your library service. If it has located a different library service, press 'No' If it has located Solihull Libraries, press 'Yes'. At the bottom of the screen you will have an option to select 'Yes' or 'No' When the app has located a local library service it will ask you at the top of the screen 'Is this your local library?'. The app will then try and find your local library service - this takes a few moments. Scroll to the end of the page and select 'Find My Library' When the Libby app opens, press the green/blue button that says 'Hi!'. When the download is complete, press 'Open'. Download and install the 'Libby, by OverDrive' app from the App Store, Google Play Store or Windows Store.
